Homeland Season 4 to move to South Africa

If you have not already heard, Homeland is moving its primary filming location for season 4 from Charlotte to Cape Town South Africa.  Producers said they need a foreign location to place Carrie in her new role as Chief of Station for a CIA location in the Middle East. While this announcement came out back in April, I have been told some scenes may still be filmed in Charlotte from some people that worked on the show last year. If this is indeed the case, they have not informed the company that does extra's casting.  Tona B. Dahlquist Casting has a Facebook page for homeland casting and has posted that filming for this season will not be in Charlotte. Show Runner Alex Gansa said "we've been so lucky to work with one of the best crews in the business for the last three seasons in Charlotte."  We will have to wait and see how this pans out. Shooting for season 4 is set to being in South Africa in June.
